Choose one TV output, connect it, set the TV audio, then listen.
Find one TV port labeled AUDIO OUT.

The transmitter LED beside Hearing Aids should be white.
Not white? Hold the transmitter Mode button for 3 seconds, then check again.

Look for a T or MT setting in your hearing aid app or paperwork. If you cannot find one, ask your hearing care professional.

Aura C phone hearing aids
Aura C does not pair directly with hearing aids.
Set up Aura C →Switch to T or MT. The neckloop sends the broadcast to your hearing aids.

TV Bluetooth setup
This bypasses the Opera Aura transmitter and may have more delay.
Hold the power switch at Pair with Phone for 3 seconds until red and blue flash.
Open the TV Bluetooth audio list and select Aria Aura.
Solid blue means the Bluetooth connection is ready.

Choose what you see.
Expected: the Audio Signal light is solid and spoken dialogue plays. Still silent? Reopen Step 2 and follow the matching connection path from the beginning.
Expected: solid orange and TV sound. If it still fails, hold + and − together for 5 seconds to reset the headphones, then search again.
A soundbar already using the ARC port must be disconnected or rerouted; Opera Aura soundbar pass-through is Optical/AUX only.
If sound is too quiet
Stop when the volume is comfortable and voices are clear.
Raise the headphone volume slowly.
Still too quiet? Switch Volume Boost ON on the transmitter for +6 dB. It works with Optical, HDMI ARC, and AUX.
Voices unclear? Select Voice Clear 2 on the headphones.
Using AUX? Raise the TV/source volume if needed.
Bluetooth · Phone / PC
Connect the headphones directly—do not pair the transmitter.
This prevents the headphones from rejoining TV audio.
Hold the headphone switch at Pair with Phone for 3 seconds. Wait for red + blue flashing.
Open Bluetooth on the phone or computer and select Aria Aura.
A solid blue headphone LED means connected.
Return to TV listening Turn off the phone's Bluetooth, then switch the headphones to ON near the powered transmitter. Wait for solid orange.
Daily use
Use the powered dock or a USB-C cable.
Power & charging
Not charging? Reseat the headphones or USB-C cable and verify the power source.
Up to 35 hours of playtime. Actual time varies with volume, connection, and use.

Firmware update
Update only if Avantree Support tells you to, or this guide sends you here.
Firmware Update Cable: Use the included gray-tip cable. Mac users can also use an Apple charging cable.
After updating: follow the reset step shown by the updater.
During the update: do not unplug the headphones, close the updater, or turn off the computer.
Private listening
Private Mode uses an encrypted, password-protected Auracast broadcast.
The feature is not available yet. Once released, it will be added to the headphones through a DFU firmware update.
Use the open Opera Aura broadcast for normal TV listening. The headphone app is only needed for password-protected broadcasts.
