Aura C sends Auracast audio through your phone to Bluetooth headphones or hearing aids. It also supports live captions.

SET UP AURA C
Set up Aura C in VenuCast Connect.
Download the App, plug in Aura C, then join the broadcast on a USB-C phone or tablet.
Older iPhone with a Lightning port? Use a compatible USB-C-to-Lightning adapter cable. Not included.

Install VenuCast Connect
Ready: the App shows “Insert Aura C.”

Plug in Aura C
Insert Aura C fully into the USB-C port. If asked to allow USB access, tap Allow.
USB access denied? Unplug Aura C, reconnect it, then choose Allow in the USB prompt.

Find and join the broadcast
Tap Find Auracast .
Tap your broadcast. Its name appears blue when selected.

Public broadcast Joins automatically.
Encrypted broadcast Enter the password in the pop-up, then confirm.
Joined: the Aura C indicator stays solid orange.

PERSONAL LISTENING
Listen through Bluetooth headphones or hearing aids. Use the phone or tablet where you installed VenuCast Connect.
✓ You’re ready to listen The broadcast should play through the Bluetooth headphones or hearing aids you connected before setting up Aura C.
Sound coming from the phone? In VenuCast Connect, tap Output , then select the connected headphones or hearing aids.
Tap Current Output Select your connected device 2 Adjust the volume Use the controls on your headphones or hearing aids, phone, or tablet.

Read the broadcast as text. Before you start ✓ Keep Default Output as is.

On iPhone or iPad
Open Settings → Accessibility → Live Captions , then turn on Live Captions.
Open the floating Live Captions control and choose iPhone Audio .
Play the Auracast broadcast. Move or resize the caption window so the text is easy to read.

Open Settings and search for Live Caption .
Open Live Caption and turn it on. If asked, download the language pack.

FIX A PROBLEM
Common questions
ms How much audio delay should I expect? The phone-speaker path adds about 60–80 ms. Bluetooth headphones or hearing aids may add another 180–280 ms with SBC, for about 240–360 ms total.
1× Can one Aura C serve multiple listeners? One Aura C supports one phone and its selected audio output. For multiple listeners, each person needs their own Aura C setup or another compatible Auracast receiver.

FIRMWARE UPDATE
Update only when prompted. 1 Prepare Keep the phone charged and Aura C firmly connected.
2 Start the update Open Aura C Settings → Firmware Update, review the release note, then confirm.
3 Wait for completion Wait until the App confirms success.
During the update: do not unplug Aura C, close the App, or power off the phone.
