Oasis Plus 2 Setup Guide

Power on, connect your TV, pair a Bluetooth listening device, and check sound.

Follow five steps in order. Optical is recommended when available; AUX is the alternative for a TV headphone or audio output.

Compatibility: Classic Bluetooth audio devices and compatible Phonak hearing aids. Not Auracast hearing aids.

STEP 01

Power On Oasis Plus 2

Connect power and confirm the transmitter turns on before connecting the TV.
  1. Plug in and switch on

    Connect USB-C power to Oasis Plus 2 and a powered TV USB port or 5 V wall adapter, then slide the switch to ON.

DONEThe display and LEDs turn on.

IF NOTReseat the power cable or try another powered USB port or 5 V adapter.

STEP 02

Connect Oasis Plus 2 to Your TV

Select one TV audio output. The guide will show only the instructions for your choice.

TASKChoose and connect one TV audio cable.

RECOMMENDED

Optical

For a TV port labeled OPTICAL or DIGITAL AUDIO OUT.

ALTERNATIVE

AUX 3.5 mm

For a TV port labeled HEADPHONES or AUDIO OUT.

HDMI ARC/eARC ONLYUse an HAX06 HDMI ARC audio extractor.

NOT THISDo not use a TV audio input or the Oasis Plus 2 OUTPUT TO SPEAKER port.

STEP 03

Set Your TV Audio Output

Use only the settings for the connection selected in Step 02.

TASKSet the TV output and confirm Oasis Plus 2 receives audio.

START FIRSTChoose Optical or AUX in Step 02 to see the matching TV settings.

STEP 04

Pair Your First Bluetooth Device

Pair the listening device with Oasis Plus 2—not with the TV or phone.

TASKConnect one Classic Bluetooth listening device.

  1. Put the headphones in pairing mode

    Turn Bluetooth off on nearby phones and computers first.

    AirPods / AirPods Pro

    Check the back of your case.

    There is a button

    AirPods 1–3 / AirPods Pro 1–2

    1. Open the case with your AirPods inside.
    2. Hold the button on the back for about 5 seconds.

    Ready when: the case light flashes white.

    There is no button

    AirPods 4 or 5 / AirPods Pro 3

    1. Open the case with your AirPods inside.
    2. Double-tap the front of the case.
    AirPods 4 or 5, or AirPods Pro 3 case front double-tapped until the status light flashes white

    Ready when: the case light flashes white.

    AirPods Max
    1. Press and hold the noise control button for about 5 seconds.

    Ready when: the status light flashes white.

    Bose
    1. Turn on the headphones or open the earbud case.
    2. Hold the Bluetooth or power button until the light flashes blue or you hear “Ready to connect.”

    Ready when: the light flashes blue or the voice prompt confirms pairing.

    Beats
    1. Turn on the headphones.
    2. Hold the system or power button until the indicator flashes.

    Ready when: the indicator flashes for pairing.

    Sony
    1. With the headphones off, hold the power button for about 5 seconds.
    2. For Sony earbuds, use the case or touch-sensor pairing command for your exact model.

    Ready when: the light flashes blue or you hear “Bluetooth pairing.”

    Samsung Galaxy Buds
    1. Place both earbuds in the case, close it for 5–6 seconds, then open it.
    2. If pairing does not start, wear both earbuds and touch both touchpads until you hear the pairing sound.

    Ready when: the earbuds announce pairing or show their pairing pattern.

    JBL
    1. Hold the Bluetooth or power button until the indicator flashes rapidly.
    2. If JBL reconnects to a phone, turn that phone Bluetooth off and try again.

    Ready when: the indicator flashes rapidly.

    Other headphones
    1. Hold the power, Bluetooth, or main button until the light flashes rapidly.
    2. Check the headphone manual for the exact command if the light does not change.

    Ready when: the headphones show their documented pairing pattern.

  2. Start pairing on Oasis Plus 2

    Hold the round Headphone 1 button on the left side of the control panel for 2 seconds. See button →
    The Headphone 1 LED flashes green and white alternately in pairing mode.

  3. Wait for connection

    Keep both devices within 3 ft / 1 m.

DONEThe Headphone 1 LED is solid white when connected.

IF NOTOpen the official pairing fix.

OPTIONALPair a Second Pair of Headphones
  1. Keep Headphone 1 connected. Its LED should be solid white.
  2. Turn Bluetooth off on nearby phones and computers. Put the second headphones into pairing mode.
  3. Hold the round Headphone 2 button on the lower-right for 2 seconds. The Headphone 2 LED flashes green and white alternately in pairing mode.
  4. Wait until both headphone LEDs are solid white.

DONE Both pairs of headphones are connected.

HEARING AIDSOnly compatible Phonak models using Classic Bluetooth are supported. Check Phonak compatibility. Auracast hearing aids are not supported.

STEP 05

Play TV Audio and Check Sound

Confirm the TV signal and Bluetooth connection before adjusting volume.

TASKListen to TV audio through the paired device.

  1. Play and check

    Play a TV program and confirm the selected OPT or AUX light and Headphone 1 LED are solid.

  2. Adjust volume

    Adjust the listening device and Oasis Plus 2. With AUX, also adjust the TV output volume.

  3. Optical only

    Slide the OPT Volume Boost switch on the side of the transmitter to Boost if more volume is needed.

DONEThe signal light and Headphone 1 LED are solid, and TV audio is audible.

OPTIONALUse a Soundbar with Headphones

Use this only after headphone audio is working.

  1. Connect an extra Optical or AUX cable from OUTPUT TO SPEAKER on Oasis Plus 2 to the soundbar.
  2. Match the connection type: Optical IN → Optical OUT, or AUX IN → AUX OUT.

DONE The soundbar and Bluetooth headphones play together.

QUICK HELP

Fix the common problems

01Headphones Will Not Pair
  1. Turn Bluetooth off on nearby phones and computers. If the TV asks to connect directly to the headphones, select Cancel.
  2. Put the headphones into Bluetooth pairing mode.
  3. On the Oasis Plus 2 control panel, press and hold the round Headphone 1 pairing button on the left for 2 seconds.
  4. Keep both devices within 1–3 ft and wait for the Headphone 1 LED to turn solid white.

02No Sound Through Headphones
  1. Confirm the Headphone 1 LED and the selected OPT or AUX light are solid.
  2. For Optical, set the TV format to PCM or Stereo. For AUX, raise the TV output volume.
  3. Raise the listening-device and Oasis Plus 2 volume.

04TV Setting: Use TV Speakers and Headphones Together

TV SETTING: This feature is controlled by your TV, not Oasis Plus 2, and may not be supported by every TV model.

  1. Use the Optical connection when available.
  2. Select TV Speaker + Optical or enable simultaneous optical output in the TV sound settings.
  3. Set Digital Audio Format to PCM or Stereo.

More Quick Fixes

Firmware update

Update Oasis Plus 2

  1. Download the Firmware Update Tool on a Windows/Mac computer.

  2. Connect Oasis Plus 2 to your computer with a USB data cable.

  3. Open the Firmware Update Tool.

    Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Keep Oasis Plus 2 connected until it says Complete.

After updating: reset Oasis Plus 2.
